Stone-coated metals do come in a variety of different profiles, however. Depending on the one the homeowners is looking for, different color varieties will be available for each profile type. For example, cottage shingles come in a two-color blend that creates a clean classic mid-profile shingle look. Whereas the cedar shake profile is designed to replicate hand-split wood shakes and comes in a variety of wood tones, some solid colors and some blended colors are available.

You can get them in solid colors, or you can get them with black-enhanced and lighted areas. The latter creates depth and interest.
